Welcome to another Retro Revival show! And what bundle of joy do I have for you lovely people to check out?
Altered Beast on the SEGA Master System. What should have been almost arcade perfect turned out to be a sloppy jerky side scrolling mess of a game. No redeeming features to speak of, the music perhaps being the highlight, but the rest of it was a cut down mess. No multiplayer, badly configured joypad controls...shame really as other conversions were done very well indeed.
