Why? Because even Sam isn't serious enough to deal with bad game design. Sure developers, let's have a bossfight where:

- The boss has attack patterns that demand your full attention,
- But let's also spawn the arena full of kamikazes and soldiers who deal a ton of melee damage and stagger you on hit,
- Make the arena pointlessly huge so that you can't even see what the pickups are,
- Make the boss super bullet spongy to the point where the only weapon that deals palpable damage to him is the SNIPER RIFLE (though this is a franchise wide issue, it's just more severe here since some of the other weapons are nerfed),
- And to top it all off let's also have some rain effect on the screen to hurt visibility even more.

There is only one strategy: easy difficulty where you won't even get hit but at least you can move on to the fun parts.
