Kirby has been a gaming icon since his platforming debut in 1992, but despite this, he didn’t make the jump to 3D platforming when everyone else did and instead decided to wait until, well, this year.

This past fall, they unveiled Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which was a super exciting announcement, as the first mainline Kirby title to be playable in 3D.

It is NOT the first 3D Kirby game though, far from it, he’s had a solid handful of games playable in the 3rd dimension that date all the way back to 1994.

Since they’re mostly obscure games that time forgot, I thought it’d be fun to take a look back at all of them to get ready for this new game, enjoy!
