Cobra was the boldest of her siblings, and this boldness only continued as she grew. She was one of the first to disperse from her pack and is ready to start one of her own. With confidence she steps out into a hostile land to fight for her own survival. How long before this confidence is shaken by injury, starvation, or sickness?

In this episode, Cobra struggles to hunt enough elk to feed her growing pups. Even with Zeus's help, both parents are on low wakefulness which makes hunting nearly impossible. On top of this, Athena tries to show off her cougar hunting skills, while her siblings boldly wander to the very outskirts of their protected boundary. One of the pups even gets to go on a field trip, but isn't too thrilled about being so far from the den in the cold weather.
