Exploring Forbidden Places You Can't Go on Nintendo 64
Today, I wanted to explore some of the most unusual locations, forbidden places and liminal spaces on the Nintendo 64. Inspired by my "No Exits" GoldenEye Gameshark code exploration video, there are countless other locations on the Nintendo 64 which I've always wanted to explore and take in the strange, unsettling, or otherwise liminal space of an empty, yet nostalgic area in the game.
In this video, we'll explore some forbidden places in Ocarina of Time, Diddy Kong Racing, Pokémon Snap, and The World is Not Enough. These certainly hold some very strange secrets and things which only a handful of people have likely ever seen or noticed.... especially the TWINE one is just so insane I could never imagine! Enjoy this deep dive into some of these weird locations, along with some gaming analysis, history and other fun knowledge tossed in there.
Much of the footage was made possible thanks to Noclip (dot) Website, and thanks to The Cutting Room Floor (tcrf dot net) for information about various cut content!
