46Based on the video game. This is a remake of an earlier trailer using more live action references.
The two films featured prominently are the overlooked military/horror classics Mutant Chronicles and Deathwatch; both movies I enjoyed and both with just the right color scheme and art direction for Resistance.

The story is an alternate world war two scenario. London instead of being attacked by the Germans is instead attacked and decimated by an army of biological weapons called The Chimera; presumably a Russian experiment gone awry, but whose origins and purpose are shrouded in mystery. What remains of the allied forces must fight this new threat to not only their nations but mankind itself.
