Fall of Porcupine Part 7: The End Playthrough
2Part 7 of the playthrough of Fall of Porcupine. In the playthrough, Finley shows up for his shift at the hospital, but there is a protest outside. After doing his tasks, he meets up with Mia and Karl to make a plan to figure out what is really going on at the hospital. After returning to the hospital, there is an influx of patients, and the next day, the hospital is at full capacity. Karl and Finley decide to reopen the ward on the fifth floor, but everything goes downhill from there.
This final part of the playthrough was eventful! However, it felt like there were constant mini-games, especially at the end. Finley has to do his and Mia's tasks, which are 6 mini-games in a row. Then, about 10 minutes later, you have to do another 6 mini-games, and of course, half are my least favorite stethoscope mini-games. In the settings, there is the option to turn on simple mini-games, which makes the mini-games like the stethoscope game easier as the arrows go slower. With the ending, I felt like it was rushed, and there were questions left unanswered.
I will say I enjoyed playing Fall of Porcupine, but there are some improvements that could be made, including making the town not feel so empty, doing bug fixes with the mini-games, and fleshing out the ending more.
Fall of Porcupine is a narrative-driven game where you play as Finley, the newest doctor at St. Ursula's Hospital. However, things are not the way they seem in the small town of Porcupine.
