Fallout 4 Gameplay Walkthrough Part 4 With Commentary (PS4) - Playing Detective
3Hi, everyone! So we are back as per use to play some of Fallout 4. This quest is part of the Far Harbor DLC. (Also, my 1st time everrr playing it)

Steps:
*Listen to the Valentine’s Detective Agency Radio
*Talk to Ellie
*Travel to the Nakano Residence
*Talk to Kenji Nakano
*Investigate the Nakano Residence
*Investigate the Boathouse and Listen to Kasumi’s Holotape
*Talk to Kenji Nakano, AGAIN
Quick Guide to the investigation of the house:
The Nakanos will leave you to explore the place for clues, but for further story details, you can ask Kenji and Rei for more information on their daughter, and why they both think something different happened to Kasumi. If you pass a hard charisma check when asking Rei Nakano about Kasumi, she’ll reveal that they’ve all been fighting a lot after Kasumi’s grandfather passed away, and she’s spent a lot of time in his boathouse.
Exploring the house, note several audio logs from Kasumi and her tinkering experiments. One right next to the front door on the table, one on the television, one in the kitchen, and another up the stairs next to a lamp.
Inside Kasumi’s room you can find another holotape about the radio on a desk, and a disturbing entry on her dreams next to her bed. The real prize is hand-written note behind a toolbox on her dresser, that points you in the direction of her grandfather’s boathouse. Whether you got the info from Rei or the note, it’s time to explore the boathouse.
Exploring the boathouse on the edge of the property yields more clues, aside from more scavenging supplies. Check the Expert locked safe to find a note to Kasmui from her grandfather telling her to “picture the key”. As it happens there is a picture frame on a nearby desk, check it to find the key - or pick the lock. Inside you’ll find one last holotype and some items - it seems Kasumi is headed to Far Harbor.
