Part 80. Discovering Vault 22
I plop into a location close to Vault 22, then walk across the New Vegas outskirts to reach Vault 22, whose entrance has been completely covered by vegetation not found elsewhere in the Mojave Wasteland. I enter the vault door and immediately notice the abundance of foliage everywhere. I check around on the main level (but there is very little to loot), then I head down to the next level, which is the oxygen recycling plant. I also notice some terminals with journal entries of someone who recently explored this vault. I check the rest of the level and run into "spore carriers," which were apparently the former vault dwellers and scientists who formerly lived here. I drop down to the next level, which is the food production area. More of the same... spore crawlers, foliage, and journal entries which reveal how the entire population was wiped out by an airborne virus. I then drop another level and prepare to enter the vault's common areas...
