MISSION STATEMENT!
Serve and Protect is a main story mission in Far Cry 5. It takes place in Faith Seed's region of Henbane River. This mission is similar to The Scattered Flock in that it tasks players with locating and freeing hostages across the county. Probably not worth concentrating on, as any hostage situation counts toward completing it, even side missions. Players will receive the mission from Sheriff Whitehorse after completing Salvation. As mentioned, this mission pretty much completes itself. Watch for any hostage situation in Henbane River and liberate the civilians. Players can continue to accept and complete other missions while this one is still active. Once enough hostages are saved, the mission will reward the player automatically and Sheriff Whitehorse will say "Thanks".
