9In the bad ending of Far Cry 5, while we were listening to the song sung by the "father" Joseph Seed, a strange person who is the leader of the cult, a huge explosion suddenly occurred and we witnessed the whole world turned upside down in an instant. Far Cry NEW Dawn begins at this point. We wake up to a world that has been turned upside down, and we try to understand what has happened over the years in the "post-apocalyptic" world, where the old order has been destroyed and a new order has been established.
A new order means new societies, a new currency and new villains. In Far Cry NEW Dawn, we encounter three different communities. One of these is the group of people trying to survive, which we can call the civilian population, of which we are a part. The other is the group of disciples who are still loyal to Joseph Seed and use bows and arrows as weapons. The other is a group of well-armed Highwaymen led by the game's main villains, Mickey and Lou. Our main goals in the game are to defend the group of survivors we join as a "savior" against the Highwaymen, to take back the lands occupied by this group of bandits, and to develop our home base called Prosperity by obtaining as much of the fuel called Ethanol, the new currency of the Far Cry NEW Dawn world, as possible. .
Joseph Joseph Seed, also known as "The Father", is the main antagonist of Far Cry 5, Inside Eden's Gate and the deuteragonist of Far Cry New Dawn. He is a ruthless megalomaniac who is the founder and the leader of the Hope County-based extremist religious terrorist cult organization "Project at Eden's Gate" alongside his brothers and adoptive sister who he dubs "The Heralds"; Jacob, John, and Faith Seed. Eden's Gate has used both coercion and violence to bring the existing residents of Hope County into its cult, as ordered by Seed, and, as of the events depicted in the game, is in direct conflict with The Resistance and its members.
