FE Hack Reviews: Midnight Sun Chapter 2 - Oh My God! This Is So Hard!
185This has to be one of the hardest chapters I've ever played in a non-ragefest hack, but it's all legitimate difficulty. No dysfunctional gimmicks, unintuitive designs or trial and error.
I think the only thing I find unfair are the conditions for recruiting Cattleya. You're told how to make her show up fairly late in the chapter, and I assumed that you'd recruit her with a talk conversation. However, I don't count these as large problems because you'd naturally want to fight Tirado for his Topaz item, and the game is merciful enough to NOT give you a "Talk" conversation with Cattleya that results in you wasting a turn without actually recruiting her. Still, given the difficulty of the enemies, the ambush spawns, and the demands the chapter places on you, these are a concern.
