FOV mod: you can just use the command +fovy 80 (or whatever value) to change it however this is temporary as it reverts back upon each reload of the game. For a permanent solution follow below steps.
go to Documents\WBGames\FEAR2\user-id\settings.cfg
open settings.cfg with notepad
in here all the following line to bottom of page
"FovY" "85.00000"
change the value to whatever FOV you want, save the file, off you go!
