There’s something so relatable to Squall’s dismay at having adult responsibilities planted on his shoulders for the first time. He doesn’t suck it up, and he’s incredulous every time someone foists more work on him. It’s his first time on the job, and he got promoted from squad leader to school president in one assignment. Who wouldn’t be upset? There are people way more senior here!
Picking up Odin and Tonberry is optional here. If you do go after Odin, understand that he will be replaced unless you recruit him on Disc 4. That leaves Tonberry in a hard spot with that timer, and you must defeat 20-ish before the king drops in. Happy hunting because Tonberry King has a crapton of HP!
