As much as I would've liked yet another first try win, it didn't happen. The two unsuccessful attempts preceding this one were both thwarted at the second round of Braska's Final Aeon because of those goddamn pagodas giving a hundred turns in a row.

Also I realize I used the second trigger command at the beginning way too early.

I was actually rather surprised Zombie wasn't one of his immunities. Or Bio for that matter. Although the pagodas do heal all negative ailments. Bio isn't worth the trouble though as it only does a measly 600 damage per turn in the first form and 1200 in the second. Anyway, I would've brought Yuna into the fight and Curaga'd the fuck out of him but she has this nasty tendency of dying in this fight.

I didn't have a clue what to do after that fight though, I thought I still had to fight seriously until I noticed those battles grant you constant Auto-Life status. It also took me a while to notice the Curaga counter gimmick Yu Yevon has. I don't know why I didn't think of trying to zombify it.

It was mighty generous of the game to have those Adamantoises at the end game so you could steal all those precious Healing Waters from them.

Use is extremely handy in this fight, not only can you use Al Bhed Potions to remove Petrification from the Jecht Beam, but you can also use other defensive or offensive items that can recover or deal a lot of points.

I don't know why people bash this game. Sure, the story is kinda insane. Sure, Blitzball is really annoying. Most of the gameplay is very solid in my opinion though, except for gimmicky motherfuckers like Seymour Flux.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I shed a manly tear during the ending. Mostly because that music is so amazing.

Apologies for not letting the music at the very end play out for much longer, I was concerned that the video file might start getting issues due to the capture device's common habit of corrupting parts.
