Questa è la storia di come un antico regno divenne il centro di un conflitto che si estese per molti secoli, a causa di intrighi di uomini e Dei.
Il regno Solheim, il regno che nei giorni nostri venne chiamato Lucis.
Il primo Re Somnus ottenne la sua carica con crudeltà e senza merito, portando all'esilio di colui che sarebbe divenuto l'artefice della fine della sua stessa stirpe, in quanto predestinato da una maledizione divina.
Sono questi antichi fili che muoveranno i futuri passi di Noctis, principe di Lucis ed ultimo erede della casata, sarà anche designato come ultimo Re.
Nel viaggio che condurrà Noctis dinnanzi al suo destino i suoi amici più fidati, Ignis, Gladio e Prompto, saranno pronti a sostenerlo nei momenti felici ed in quelli più difficili.
Ed un viaggio nato come viaggio di matrimonio programmato con l'attuale oracolo della casata di Tenebrae Lunafreya, si rivelerà solo l'inizio della fine del viaggio di Noctis per salvare il mondo accettando anche il più crudele destino.

This is the story of how an ancient kingdom became the center of a conflict that spanned many centuries, due to the intrigues of men and gods.
The Solheim realm, the realm that came to be called Lucis in our day.
The first King Somnus won his office with cruelty and without merit, leading to the exile of the one who would become the architect of the end of his own line, as predestined by a divine curse.
It is these ancient threads that will move the future steps of Noctis, prince of Lucis and last heir of the house, will also be designated as the last King.
In the journey that will lead Noctis before his fate, his most trusted friends, Ignis, Gladio and Prompto, will be ready to support him in the happy moments and in the more difficult ones.
And a journey that began as a honeymoon planned with the current oracle of House Tenebrae Lunafreya, will prove to be only the beginning of the end of Noctis' journey to save the world by accepting even the cruellest fate.
