Now I ended up overprepared but most battles will be similar even if you have slightly lower stats. Skip the random digimon if you can and only talk to the recruitable digimon. First up is Devimon (Layer 01), he'll use multiple clones but he isn't that strong. Use your support moves and support items to boost stats and just attack. If all the aggro is concentrated on 1 of your digimon, use the guard skill if needed. Next you'll find MagnaAngemon (Layer 02), if you have upgraded the hospital to lv2 he'll ask for a Large Double Disc. Bring one and he'll join the city, you can the item from Guardromon. Okuwamon will be on Layer 04, win the fight and he'll join. On Layer 05 you'll see MegaKabuterimon, give him Stingmon's Letter and you'll recruit him to the city without a fight. If you have recruited a digimon to the Advanced Item Shop, then you can recruit LadyDevimon (Layer 06) to the city. Sakuyamon will also be on Layer 06, defeat her and she'll join the city. In Core 01, you'll trigger a cutscene, afterwards you can continue to Core 02. There you'll fight probably the hardest fight in this story section, where you'll be fighting both Samurdramon and Kuzuhamon at the same time. Guard when you see them charging their finisher, try to have both digimon focus on the same target and heal/guard when necessary. Once this battle finishes you can fight Phoenixmon if you want, same strategy as usual. Only 1 more fight to go before you complete the main story. This time around you'll be facing Omegamon Alter-B, but the same old strategy applies. Just make sure you're always aware of who has the aggro so you can guard in time. Omegamon tends to spam his finishers very often. I noticed I've never done an ExE during this playthrough so I do it here. It's not needed, if you plan on doing post-game stuff immediately after the credits roll, then you might want to save it instead. I'll stop here for now, since I've done 2 playthroughs on PS4 back in the day to get all platinum trophies. Maybe I'll record all the post-game quests later down the line.

Devimon: Opens the Dimensional District
Okuwamon: Join the Farm
Megakabuterimon: Does the same as Gabumon, except he'll boost your partner's mood during the day
LadyDevimon: Joins the Advanced Item Shop, selling Devil Chips. This'll boost stats while reducing lifespan, comes in handy if you want to get all achievements/trophies.
Sukyamon: Joins the Advanced Item Shop
Phoenixmon: Gives you rewards based on how many cards you've collected
Megadramon: This one was defeated by Himari and Kouta, and joins the Research Lab. Boosts the stats of In-Training digimon for a fee.
