Welcome to my review of Fire Force Volume 1 by Atsushi Ohkubo. This series ran from 2015-2022 and is in my opinion, one of the most underrated modern shonen series. It stars Shinra Kusakabe, a young boy who can ignite flames from his feet as he joins Special Fire Force Company 8 in order to solve the mystery behind Spontaneous Human Combustion and the Infernals. This was a great introductory volume which should get new readers interested in the story and characters. Who is that suspicious man who knows about Shinra's past?
