Il y a de cela six ans, la Légion a envahi la Ville de la Torche, qui était à l’origine peuplée par des animaux. Depuis, le lapin Rayton, ancien combattant au sein de la Résistance, a mené une vie de reclus. Après l’arrestation arbitraire d’un de ses amis, Rayton décide à nouveau d’utiliser son poing en métal mécanique pour combattre ses oppresseurs. Il était loin de se douter qu’il serait alors embarqué dans un tourbillon de complots impliquant la Légion, la Résistance, et un certain Gang des Rats.
