A fast lap around the Nürburgring in a Renault R.S.17 with Ferrari livery. The game is Forza Motorsport 7 on the Xbox Series X. I'm using a PXN V900 wheel, with ABS brakes, stability & traction control, and an automatic transmission.

Unlike my previous racing videos, this one is captured from a game replay, so it doesn't include the HUD from the race.

It's worth noting that the cockpit protection device known as the halo wasn't introduced until 2018, so the view from the R.S.17 is unencumbered by it. I prefer the clear view in a simulation, but I would never race an actual F1 car without the head protection.

Even though I know the Nürburgring well enough to drive it this fast in a simulation, it's a long and intricate course, and very difficult to drive a clean lap.
