Freedom Planet - Part 40 - Gallery Cards Montage - Sky Battalion
3Regardless of which character you used for Fortune Night, Sky Battalion is the next stage, as the three of them are all traveling together. As Fortune Night contains Gallery Cards 31 through 40, it's only logical that Sky Battalion would have Gallery Cards 41 through 50. Sky Battalion is also the first Gallery Card available that's locked until you beat the game at least once due to some potentially spoiler-y material. (Not all of them are like that though, and I'm not entirely certain of the rationale behind some of them.)
As you might recall, Sky Battalion consists of Zao's airship, which serves as the hub of this stage, and the Metal Ship, Fire Ship, and Earth Ship belonging to the Shuigang military. Those three ships can be tackled in any order you like, so the Gallery Cards would REALLY be out of order. Nevertheless, like the stages before them, they are grouped consecutively by ship. None of them are located on Zao's airship, by the way.
To make ot easier to figure out which ship each clip takes place in, remember that the Metal Ship has a blue motif, the Fire Ship has a lot of reds, and the Earth Ship is highlighted in green. This time, I'll divide the list of Gallery Card locations by ship.
Cards inaccessible by certain characters will be marked with either (L) for LIlac, (C) for Carol, or (M) for Milla:
FIRE SHIP
41 - At the end of the indoor fan area, head carefully to the right. It is behind a bed of spikes. It may be easier to let the wheel enemy clear the spikes, then defeat the wheel enemy, however.
42 - At the second outdoor area, go up as far as possible, and it's at the end of an incline. Carol needs her motorcycle's double jump to access this one.
43 - (C) - Near the beginning, go up as high as possible, and there's a large button you can press on the floor to open a door. The card is right behind this door.
METAL SHIP
44 - At the bow of the ship. You access this after defeating the octopus MEANIE! boss.
45 - (C) - Towards the beginning, there is a platform with two crates surrounding a life lotus. As Milla, fly straight up to reach a missile platform from Zao's airship with the card on it. Lilac can reach this with the Dragon Boost, but as you can't aim it straight up. you'll need to position Lilac carefully to reach it without overshooting the missile.
46 - There is a short stretch between the two crisscrossing bridges and the wall run part leading up to a fan room. Take the bridge going from lower left to upper right, and it'll be in a hidden room accessible from the first left wall you see. This is barely low enough for Milla's flying to reach. Lilac will have the hardest time due to the positioning of the walls making it hard to Dragon Boost into it.
47 - Towards the beginning, right before you get inside the ship, the low path will have a spinning wheel enemy. Let it charge at you and go as far to the right as possible.
EARTH SHIP
48 - In the room with the large purple crystals on the chains, it is on a falling platform. Lilac and Milla can reach it even after the platform has fallen, but you only get one shot as Carol.
49 - (C) - In the outside area with the fans, go up as high as possible and you'll find a series of missile platforms from Zao's airship. The card is on one of these missiles.
50 - To the upper-right of the purple crystals area near where #48 is found is a small alcove with its own chain of purple crystals. The card is behind this chain.
Every character who tackles Sky Battalion gets Jade Creek as their next stage. That will be the subject of the next montage.
