Sea War has a rather dynamic situation as the four player spots have different situations going for them. If you end up as Blue or Purple (Humans), you have a tighter base area whereas if you end up playing as Green or Orange (Orcs), you have a bigger base area to work with.

This map puts an emphasis to naval warfare when played normally. My approach in this map since I am playing as one of the Human players is to sabotage the orc bases early into the game as they are the most dangerous opponents while building up my economy. Destroying their shipyards early should prevent them from launching attacks against you later on.

Once you do destroy one of the Orc bases early into the game, you claim their gold mine as yours as an expansion. There's only one good Gold Mine in this map and its in the center of the map guarded by Cannon Towers, Giant Turtles, Skeletons and Daemons. It's best that you tackle the center of the map by surgically using Mages with Blizzard with Gryphon Riders to deal with incoming Daemons that will retaliate. Once the enemies in the center of the map is gone, you can claim it as your new expansion.

With plenty of resources, you can launch attacks to the remaining enemies with a mix of naval units and Gryphons. You can add in some ground forces to deal with the inland structures. But likely at this point, if you've managed to sabotage their base operations early; they'll be easy pickings.
