For the opening, I chose a French Defense variation, locking the center pawns and defending with knight to e2. Then I linked the knights together with knight to c3. My opponent activates their queen, and for extra defense I play bishop to e3, defending the pawn on the king's side.

Next, a light square bishop and pawn trade occurs, my opponent's knights advance into an offensive position, and I place my dark square bishop into what I believe to be a very strong position... b5, threatening my opponent's knight, bishop, and king, while it's defended by both of my knights. Knights and bishops trade, leaving my opponent with a very strong pawn and queen structure, and myself with a brick wall defense using queen and knight.

I push both a pawns to lock in and defend my position more. My opponent pushes a pawn, threatening my knight. I play knight to d6, forcing the bot's king to move through check (can't take my knight with the queen because I'll be up 5 points of material after recapturing with my pawn). After the opposing king moves, I castle short, protecting my king and bringing my rook out for future attack.

I push another pawn, the chess bot offers a knight trade with e4. Queens, knights, rooks, and pawns do some maneuvering. Knights trade. I take my opponent's rooks through some strategic checkmate threats. My opponent tries and fails to threaten my king. I form a wall of pawns around my king. I win material and perform a brutal checkmate.

This was wild. One of my best performances so far. Subscribe for more.
