Hello Successful Gamers and welcome to Dead Island 2! This is a series that both Me and Wifey will be doing together in our series that we have come up with together called: Gaming with Wifey! Basically, a series where we do a let's play/playthrough of a game of our (Her) choosing.😂 She handpicked this game herself and really wanted to play it for the channel.

Dead Island 2 is set about 15 years after the events of Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide, Dead Island 2 takes place in the city of Los Angeles, which has been quarantined due to a zombie outbreak. Like its predecessor, it is a scary looter action role-playing adventure game played from a first-person perspective. At the beginning of the game, you are able to select from one of six playable characters. Each of them has their own unique skills and abilities. Among the world are 10 different zones for you to unlock and explore either solo or cooperatively with friends! While the player can freely explore each zone, they must travel between different zones through Zone Exits.

Players can pick up both ranged and melee weapons and each can be further customized with mods, which add elemental effects, and perks, If you are crafty enough you can use the environment to your advantage. An electric weapon can be thrown into a puddle, but becareful weapons will gradually degrade and eventually break, though players can repair them at workbenches found in the game's world.
