In this video, we unboxed, assemble, and evaluate the Sihoo M18 ergonomic office chair to see if it is a good solution for those looking for a gaming chair to provide Better Support During Marathon Gaming Sessions.

As someone with a job in e-commerce and who creates content, I'm generally sitting at my computer desk for no less than 2 hours a day. That's just at home. For me, having a comfortable chair that also provides proper support is important. Back issues run in my family, and I want to make sure I avoid those. That's where Sihoo's M18 ergonomic chair looks to address not only a need but try to keep you healthier and improve your posture. Let's take a closer look.

Available in three different colors, the M18 has a number of interesting features. I like the fact that there is an adjustable lower lumbar support that you can add or remove the pressure to your lower back to provide proper support. It also helps you keep your posture correct as well. The left and the right sides feature height-adjustable armrests, but I have to admit I really do wish that they also swiveled in or out. The back of the M18 also features a height and angle adjustable headrest. finally, you can lock the base in position or unlock it so that you can recline it.

The assembly process is fairly simple and straightforward, and I have to admit that this is one of the best Allen wrenches I've ever had included with a gaming chair. Instead of your typical l wrench, they include an Allen wrench fitted with a T-handle. This allows you to get a better grip so that you're not having the point of the tool slip out of the head of the screw. It also allows you to apply a little bit more torque when you are tightening things down that last little bit.

It took me about 30 minutes to assemble the chair, and I did not run into any major issues, but one minor one of my own making. I accidentally used the wrong washers when attaching the base of the chair to the seat itself. I used the larger washers instead of the smaller ones. That was simply my mistake and it was quickly remedied. The only other minor issue I ran into was inserting the casters into the base of the chair. These are a hard fit, something I wish I would have had a board or something that would have fit between the wheels to allow me to apply a little bit more direct pressure.

With everything assembled, I took a seat. I love the fact that the seat itself is flat, other gaming chairs the base kind of raises up around the thighs and for me, being a bigger guy, I have found this to be uncomfortable as they tend to dig into my thighs. Fatboy problems, I know. The one thing I found a bit odd was no matter how I adjusted the screw on the front of the chair I could not get the recline to feel any more firm. It always just kind of went all the way back. I would have liked to see this firmed up a little bit or use a firmer spring. I also found several mold-release zits on the hand rests, not a major deal but something my fingertips always went to and I just used an exacto knife to clean up.

Why it RoX:
- Available in multiple colors
- Super comfortable headrest
- Very good Allen wrench included
- Height adjustable armrests
- Comfortable seat
- Adjustable lower lumbar support

What could be improved:
- "Zitting" on armrests
- Armrests do not rotate
- Recline spring a bit soft

Should you buy one?
I love the seat on the M18, it is super comfortable, and the headrest is awesome. I do wish that it had the ability to swivel the armrests in and out, and I also wish my wife hadn't claimed this chair for her own! That's right, my wife has sat in this and has claimed the M18 as her chair in her office. I would say that's a pretty good endorsement, wouldn't you? Thanks to Sihoo for sending us an M18 for evaluation, I will have a link in the pinned comment If you would like to check one out for yourself.
