Demonstration video against Elite Certificate Mission 25 (Perpetually Winged Dyaus Pita Solo) using rank 1 gear (short/sniper/tower). It's basically the same strategy with rank 7 gear but repeated constantly while playing safe. Break the tail with sniper then proceed to kill it using Rampaging Comet.

Using Rank 1 gear is a bit close to the previous series' Perilous 99 challenge but still feels a bit different. Fights didn't last this long and Down/Status ailments were not something you could take advantage of. Apologies if it took so long to kill and unfortunately it isn't a perfect run since I got hit near the end. Getting hit and dieing was normal in P99 difficulty, it helped us get better as God Eaters. Reverse Guard Cancel: (Advanced Tech for Tower Shields)

At around 5:07 when Pita was downed and I was attacking with Scorpion, I used an advanced technique taught to me called Reverse Guard Cancel. This allows you to cancel animation of a block by pressing the reverse directional button your facing when you tap the guard button with proper timing. The benefit of using this is to speed up your attacks or BA usage by cancelling backswing animations with a block. This is most prominently noticed when using Tower Shields and Buster Blade (due to advanced guard). Its as fast or even faster than buckler cancelling with the proper input and use. It gives Tower Shield users a bit of an edge compared to other Shield Types. It hasn't been fixed via a patch yet as of v1.45.
