Issac and Garet arrive in Vault. As they arrive, they see a caravan making a hasty retreat out of there. After a short cutscene, the lads enter Vault. After speaking with some townsfolk, the boys learn that a group of people fled Vault to return back to Kalay, fearful of the eruption. However, during the panic, thieves entered, and stole many of the villagers things.
As Issac and Garet investigate further, they meet a boy named Ivan: Another Adept, who has special telepathic powers. After Ivan shares his story, the lads agree to help him recover his master's stolen magic rod. As they mind read the villagers, they learn that the thieves are hiding out in the Inn. The boys confront the thieves, and quickly dispose of them.
With the rod retrieved, Ivan hurries to re-join his Master, while the lads continue on with their quest to find the Four Lighthouses..Something tells me we'll be seeing Ivan again...
