Rockstar has just officially received a response from sony playstation regarding the ps5 exclusivity deal for grand theft auto 6. Now sony group the mother company of sony interactive entertainment has stated that their investment budget for 2023 is not meant for the purchase of take two. Previously in february jim rayn the boss of playstation has even stated they are not trying to compete with microsoft but rather want the block the call of duty deal assuring that gta 6 releases on ps5, xbox series x/s and pc. Complimentary to what strauss zelnick the ceo of take two mentioned explaining that they will stay independent since they have a very good position in the market especially after buying zygna generating them about 50 procent of their total revenue. Presently gaming journalist jason schreier clarifies that all the sony buying take two rumors originated from the a single tweets and that 50 cent is just creating a vice city tv series.
