GTA 5 cheats and codes let you spawn weapons, guns and cars, get extra health and give you control of things like wanted level and more. You can gain invincibility, superpowers, give yourself useful gear like parachutes and plenty more. To use GTA 5 cheat codes on Xbox and Playstation you just need to input them with the D-pad and face buttons, or use the in-game phone. While on PC you can do that, or use console commands for the same effect.
One thing to note when using GTA 5 codes is that they disable trophies and achievements while active in GTA 5. To counter that you can switch off anything you've activated by re-entering the code but it's a good idea to create a separate cheat save just in case they break anything, and restart the game when you're done just to be sure you've cleared everything out.
