Happy 30th Birthday, World Heroes 2 Jet!
4SORRY ABOUT THE BLINKING SCREEN ON THE FINAL BOSS (IDK what happened to the emulation there)
On April 26th of 1994, SNK released on arcades worldwide World Heroes 2 Jet. A peculiar entry on this saga, wich I didnt played that much back then, but learned enough CPU patterns to defeat it on 1cc. Its actually pretty easy even on Level 8.
The game had a new thing for the series onthe single player, called WH Battle Fest in which you competed vs teams of different CPU 3 opponents. Kind of fun.
Also on vs mode, you could change the speed and power of your character, but TBH I never delved into this much.
Gone are the multihit PPPP combos of WH2 and we have more of classic combos, still with the dreaded "strength pressure" system for the attacks, that WH Perfect would very welcomly get rid of.
The game feels balanced I think? Just a bit shallow. A mostly forgotten entry, albeit passable, and with good new stages and music which I personally would miss from the sequel.
