HAUNTING GROUND REVIEW
6You're in a mood for a quality horror game? Haunting Ground has you covered. Haunting Groud or Demento as it is known in Japan, is a survival horror game made by Capcom in 2005 for the Playstation 2. It has a cult following on the internet and it is revered as a cult classic. The game sold poorly, but it's a shame because it's really a good game.
The gameplay is similar to games like Amnesia, Outlast, Resident Evil but it has it's own unique style.

I don't own a playstation 2 anymore so I resorted to emulation. I was able to get the game running at widescreen with a much higher internal render resolution. You may notice that Fiona's face and legs are black in gameplay, this is due to a bad OpenGL driver in pcsx2 when using AMD cards. If you were to play this in software mode, which is basically stock emulation without any bells and whistles, these problems don't exist. I also think that if you play in hardware mode (OpenGL) using an Nvidia card, these problems are nonexistent.
