Ash, un conejo esquelético y príncipe del Infierno , ha heredado el papel de gobernante del Infierno de su padre. Después de que un fotógrafo toma una foto de Ash jugando con un pato de goma en la bañera, Ash se propone matar a los 100 monstruos que han visto la foto para restaurar su imagen. El mundo de Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit tiene varias zonas con diferentes estilos visuales, que incluyen " cuevas embrujadas , laboratorios de ciencias, casinos y naves espaciales llenas de animales parlantes ". El jugador navega por estas zonas viajando en una gran hoja circular similar a una sierra circular que puede atravesar el entorno, puede disparar una variedad de armas de proyectiles y está equipada con un jet pack . Ash es asistido en su búsqueda por su mayordomo , Néstor, un pulpo con sombrero de copa .
