Gul'dan is the first Warlock of the Horde in the lore, and his abilities in Heroes of the storm also clearly represent this. They are a mix of the Warlock abilities from World of Warcraft, making him a powerful sustainable damage dealing assassin.
Gul'dan's Q ability is called "Fel Flame". It's a very short cooldown spell that deals damage in an arc in front of Gul'dan. His W is "Drain Life". Drain Life is very important as it is the main way to get health back after using "Life Tap", Guldan's trait. Life Tap allows him to sacrifice health and get Mana back. "Corruption" is another spell which allows Gul'dan to deal damage over time. The "Horrify" Ultimate allows Gul'dan to fear the entire enemy team.
