-Dododex (https://www.dododex.com/) - Amazing resource which gives you lots of information. I used this to learn how to tame most creatures.
-ARK Wiki (https://ark.fandom.com/wiki/ARK_Survival_Evolved_Wiki)- Learn about maps, items, and look at explorer/resource maps to find what you need.
-ARK can be played in VR but it currently only supports Oculus. Other VR HMD's will need to utilize some workarounds (like Revive) to try VR.

Pros
-Immersive, deep mechanics, fun with friends, number of creatures to see and tame (and how unique they feel), many maps (DLC’s and some are free!)
Cons
-Grindy, Vanilla ARK too limiting, building system, too difficult solo, and much of the user interface
