A bill seeking to amend the Electoral Act 2022 to review the criteria for voters seeking to transfer their cards from one location to another. Leading the debate on the second reading of the bill, the sponsor, Rep. James Abiodun Faleke (APC, Lagos), stated that the bill seeks to amend Section 13 of the Electoral Act 2022 to require an applicant seeking to transfer their voter registration data to prove their residency in the new location.
