The time has come at last to settle the score with the Clock Tower franchise. The original is a masterpiece, the second was limited by technology but had its charm, and this... Well, fuck this game.

Clock Tower: Ghost Head is a standalone game (or Gaiden game, if you prefer Japanese nomenclature) with no connection to the original canon apart from some nonsensical references in the alternate endings. It was released as Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within in the US since the actual Clock Tower II had been released as simply Clock Tower there, thus causing a degree of numbering confusion that persists to this day.

So what defines Ghost Head? Well, it was rushed as hell and made by a team that had lost most of its original talent and as such is a buggy mess with unfun mechanics and fiddly gameplay. There is not even a clock tower in the game! Having played dozens of horror games for the stream, Arthur can confidently say that this is one of the absolute worst and least fun to play.

So let us get on with the game, and see where a dying company with one last chance at recovery managed to shit out onto our plates...
