I wasn't paid by System76 to make this video or write the blog. We're just friends. I was asked by System76's community manager Ryan Sipes to write a guest blog post. I obliged, but ended up writing about five pages. On my office PC I use Ubuntu 16.04 with GNOME 3, not to be confused with Ubuntu GNOME.

On my Steam Machine I run a regular SteamOS installation.

What do you use to edit your videos?
Audio editing: Ocenaudio
Video editing: KdenLive

What are your machines specs?
Steam Machine: Intel Core i7 at 3.8 GHz, Nvidia GTX 750 1GB, 4 GB RAM, SteamOS

Desktop: AMD FX 6300 at 3.5 GHz, Nvidia GTX 970 4GB, and 8 GB 1600 MHz RAM, Ubuntu 16.04 w/ GNOME 3 (not Ubuntu GNOME)
