The Proboscis Cernos is a very well known weapon and a fan favourite. It is great for grouping up enemies and priming them in general but it can struggle when it comes to killing at very high levels.
From its interesting mechanics we can get some really insane results with some frame combinations which will make your Proboscis Cernos absolutely annihilate enemies.. and destroy your FPS at the same time.

Overall really fun weapon. And as I said in the vid, both builds are viable and its fully dependent on what exactly you want to do
