Shows exactly what the title says and I have confirmed that this works in Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 and Windows 11 (haven't tested on 11 myself, but people have confirmed it works). Sometimes programs change the mic volume level and mess up everything, this video shows how you can lock microphone volume, so that other programs are not able to tamper with it.
It's very useful for youtubers like myself, i've had so many clips messed up because microphone volume was too low and i didn't hear my commentary, had to delete such clips. really annoying when this happens, so i made these scripts to lock the volume.
This can also be done using windows task scheduler, but it messed up for me and there's always possibility that sometimes it does not load, using this method, it works 100% at all times.
