4You'd think that my main issue with fishing while a ghost angerly attacks me would be the ghost itself, but instead it's the floaty boat mechanics that seem to slide me around at the smallest nudge and makes lining up to the dock an absolute slog to get through.

This was my entry for HalloweenGameJam2023 and my very first gamejam in general. It is very short since I wanted to make all of my own assets but I'm still happy with how it turned out.
You spawn in a cabin next to a lake and there's something outside looking for you. You need to prepare for a ritual to get rid of the creature in order to escape.
As I said it is very short but I hope you like it! I'm probably going to be doing jams like this every few months in-between other projects so I can get more experience!
-wasd to move, shift or click left joystick to sprint
-F or click right joystick for flashlight
-E or XBOX Y to interact
-left mouse or XBOX A to reel
-right mouse or XBOX X to cast your line
Known Bugs:
There are a few bugs I couldn't fix in time. If you cast a line and look away in the middle of the cast it can cause a bug that doesn't let you finish the minigame; if that happens cast the line again and it should fix it. The rest of the bugs has to do with boat movment while using a game controller; usually moving using wasd will fix it and you can use the controller again.
