Hear me out. Football boots made from recycled plastic bottles that have been pulled out of the ocean! Sounds like a great idea, right? Well, that's because it is, and because most football boots are made from plastics and textiles anyways, these materials can make for football boots that are every bit as good ones made from non-recycled materials. This is effectively what describes most of the new Adidas X Parley pack football boots. However, there's a little more to this story.
In today's video we take a closer look at the Parley pack Predator Accuracy.1, X Speedportal.1 and Copa Pure.1 from Adidas, discussing how they differ from the normal versions, and why I think we as consumers should be asking a few more questions about football boots being made from recycled materials. There's no doubt that this is an amazing idea, but could Adidas, as well as other brands, be doing more with this concept? What do you think?
