UD Almeria are a club based on the south coast of Spain in the Andalusia region. They are a passionate team who have massive ambitions. In 2019 they were purchased by his Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh and they would be part of his master plans to take a Saudi backed team to the top of Spanish Football. The plan was initially working with the club gaining promotion to La Liga by winning the Segunda Division. For the past two years though they have struggled in La Liga, narrowly avoiding relegation in 22/23 before as of the time of recording they sit bottom of La Liga win just 3 points to their name and no wins in December of 2023.

Luckily in the world of Football Manager it is possible to turn around the fortunes of any club and I am going to take on the task of fulfilling Turki Al-Sheikhs ambitions of making Almeria an elite La Liga Team!

I will have five season to take them from relegation fodder to league title contenders and will also have the added twist of making it a Spanish Youth only challenge. All of the players signed will have to be Spanish and under the age of 21 at the time of signing!

What is possible, what can we achieve? Let's begin our journey in Spain as we look to rebuild La Liga's worst team!
