In this video I review Imperator: Rome, the latest grand strategy game from Paradox Interactive. Imperator Rome has received a ton of hate on the Paradox forums and YouTube, and has an overwhelming "Mostly Negative" review rating on Steam. But is all the hate justified? In my review I go over all the features that I:R gets right, as well as all the mechanics that I didn't like. I then give my overall opinion of the game, as well as discuss why it may have gotten such a negative response from consumers. Finally, I explain why I think Paradox's current design philosophy may need to be reevaluated.

Note, this is an informal review, hence the length and organization, and the fact that it doesn't have as much editing as my typical reviews.
