In Defense of Pokemon Best Wishes (Pokemon Black & White Anime Retrospective)
For today's video, I'm here to answer a simple question: is the Pokemon Black & White anime worth watching? Pokemon Black & White, better known as Pokemon Best Wishes, is a controversial portion of the anime, so I've decided to go ahead and assess this whole saga with a fair review!

Although I don't normally make "anime review" videos, I am a huge fan of Pokemon. I've been watching the show for over a decade, and as time went on, the show did start showing signs of staleness. But then Pokemon Best Wishes came along and attempted to mix things up! Unfortunately... it wasn't met with the most positive reception. People didn't enjoy the fact that the lead protagonist, Ash Ketchum, was made to be a dumbed-down character, and people didn't enjoy that the antagonistic group, Team Rocket was made to be more serious.
But I didn't think that this series was so bad! Yes, it does have its flaws (which I address toward the latter half of the video), but I think that it had a lot of great potential. I'd wanted to create this video for such a long time, and now I've finally gotten around to doing so. I think that Pokemon Best Wishes had a lot of things going for it, and at the very least, I hope that this video helps showcase how this portion of the Pokemon anime's history isn't the worst thing to come out of it.
Thank you, and enjoy! ;)
