Völgarr the Viking is being developed by a two man team with the name of Crazy Viking Studios. The concept is to return to the oldskool feel of games like Castlevania and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts. You venture through 6 different levels all with menacing monsters to slay or be slain by. Rushing through it will get you killed often and taking it slow and learning the ropes of the enemies is the key to defeating this gem of a platformer. The game will be released on Windows this summer, possibly also on Steam and will come to other platforms in the future.
