The game is available for download on PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store as well as a hard copy disc for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows. The original release of the game included a Wii U release alongside the PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as a mobile variant for IOS/Android which provides additional costume, character and perk unlocks.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is an action fighting video game based on the DC Comics universe. Combat, cinematics, gameplay, features and storytelling follow the mold set forth by the reboot of Mortal Kombat by NetherRealm Studios with the exception of the ESRB rating. The Ultimate Edition includes all 6 DLC Characters, all DLC skins, and all DLC S.T.A.R. Labs Missions for Free. Players also gain access to the alternate costumes already in the standard edition right off the bat. Without giving too much of the story away, Injustice: Gods Among Us story focuses on an alternate world where Joker has destroyed Metropolis with a nuclear weapon that went off when Superman was tricked into killing Lois Lane and her unborn child.
