Hello everyone. Welcome to a new video on this channel. Today I have something special for you. A hidden gem. Hidden because nobody has this system on the screen when it comes to gaming. We are talking about a Bluechip BusinessLine T3200 consisting of an Intel Core i3 8100 with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630, 8GB DDR4 dual-channel memory, and 256GB SSD storage. Now you might think what is so special about this system? The complete system currently costs less than 150€ and can be upgraded relatively easily with a dedicated GPU such as an Nvidia Quadro P600, P620, P1000, T400, T600, or RTX 2000.
Also, an AMD RX560, RX550, RX460, RX370, or RX6400 would also fit into the system. It is only important to ensure buying a low-profile GPU.
But we won't look at the performance with a dedicated GPU today, no we will stay true to our motto of 3rd world gaming on this channel and chase the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 through 23 games.
Before we get to the UHD 630, I would like to say a few words about the Intel Core i3 8100. In my eyes, this quad-core CPU from 2017 is still good enough to run all the games we tested in today's video flawlessly. You get full Windows 11 support in contrast to an Intel Core i5 7400. So even for the next few years, the CPU should be sufficient for 1080p 60FPS gaming, unless you're playing the most hardware-demanding games like Call of Duty Warzone 2.
But now to the Intel UHD Graphics 630. We have already tested this integrated graphics unit a few times on this channel with the Intel Core i3 10 100. By the way, these are among the most clicked videos from this channel. On the whole, the Intel UHD Graphics 630 performed quite well. However, you should avoid really demanding and modern games like Warzone 2, Forza Horizon 5, F1 2022, or Need for Speed Unbound. They already crash at startup. However, you can still have a lot of fun with this small GPU if you lower your expectations and play less demanding games like League of Legends, Euro Truck Simulator 2, or Minecraft.
Conclusion: Can I recommend the Intel UHD Graphics 630 for gaming in 2023? No! In my opinion, it is still very suitable as a transitional solution before buying a dedicated GPU for the Intel Core i3 8100.
Can I recommend the Intel Core i3 8100 for gaming in 2023? Yes! But make sure you know what your gaming needs are beforehand. The CPU is not for 120FPS gaming in the latest and most modern games.
On the whole, I know what this YouTube channel has for a target group. Namely, low-budget gamers who still want to play all the games on the market. And that is very possible with the i3 8100. That's why I can only recommend that you take a look around at the used market. Maybe you could make a bargain or two.
