It's no secret that the launch of Cities Skylines 2 have been somewhat rocky, dealing with performance issues, mixed reviews and a recent drop in player base.

Highrise City is another city builder released in 2023. More precisely in early access in March of 2022 and the Full release in September of 2023. About a month before Cities Skylines 2.
Highrise City offers a different approach to the modern city building game. Borrowing features from colonial and medieval city builders with the high focus on resource management.
