The long overdue conclusion to my Lost Vikings playthrough! This is the final level of the game, which also doubles as the final boss battle. This stage basically acts as a puzzle boss, where you need to figure out how to beat the final boss without losing any of your three Vikings.

Just like in every other stage of the game, the objective is to clear the stage with the three separate Vikings without losing them. However, instead of reaching an exit, you need to go through each stretch of the level and defeat the boss, usually by knocking him into laser beams.

Tomator both shoots a beam (which deals 1 pt of damage) and will throw bombs at your characters. Starting with Baleog's phase, he also puts up a laser barrier (which CAN kill you). You have to dispel the barrier either with Baleog's fire arrows, or wait for the barrier to dissipate.

The hardest part of the battle is, easily, getting the timing down just right to have Erik bash Tomator into the laser beams during Phase 3. Phases 4 and 5 went smooth as butter, but it took me forever to not get zapped by Tomator's laser barrier in Erik's phase.

The battle has five phases:
#1 Olaf's Phase, drop three bombs to destroy the platforms Tomator is on and knock him into the laser beam

#2 Baleog's Phase, shoot a fire arrow to dispel Tomator's barrier, hit Tomator to stun him, and shoot the switches to knock Tomator down through the beam

#3 Erik's Phase, bash Tomator into the laser beam fields when Tomator gets ready to move (he'll dispel his barrier just before he moves)

#4 Into the Gravitational Field, drop Tomator down to the lower level using a bomb with Olaf, shoot Tomator's laser barrier with Baleog and bash Tomator into the gravitational field so he floats up to the final floor

#5 Final Phase, use Olaf to (hopefully) block Tomator's attacks while Baleog shoots fire arrows to dispel Tomator's barrier and Erik bashes Tomator up against the wall; end it by having Erik jump and hit the switch to open the escape hatch, sending Tomator into outer space to end the battle.
