I've had a long, complicated history with the Yakuza series; including internal conflicts with whether or not the series should commit to becoming a JRPG. Thankfully, RGG Studio knew people like me would miss the real-time action combat Yakuza is known for, and whipped up a spin-off series for that very purpose: Judgment. And, in this review, I go over my thoughts on what it does well... but mostly on what it doesn't.
